Professor Aradhna Krishna, Dwight F. Benton Professor of Marketing, Ross School of Business, University of Michigan
Professor Krishna is considered the pioneer and “the foremost expert in the field” of sensory marketing. She has published several leading journal articles and books in this domain. For her leadership role in sensory marketing, Professor Krishna has been recognized as a Fellow of the Society of Consumer Psychology. She is also considered one of the 50 most productive marketing professors in the world (Seggie & Griffith 2009; AMA DocSig 2014, 2015).
Professor Krishna is the founding director of a new organization, People Against Xenophobia, which aims to prevent hate crimes from happening.
The keynote speech will be on the evening of 10th January, 2019. This will be the inaugural session of the conference.
Ms. Sonali Dhawan, Marketing Functional Head (CMO) and Fabric care Unit Head, Indian sub-continent. Non-executive director on the board of PGHH and Gillette India Limited.
Ms. Dhawan is considered one of the influential women leaders in the Asian subcontinent. She has won awards which attest to the same and also recognize her leadership in the marketing field. Some of her award winning campaigns (including Cannes awards) include Ariel ‘Share the load’, Whisper ‘Touch the pickle’ and Vicks ‘Touch of Care.’
Ms. Dhawan is currently leading the Fabric Care Business for P&G across India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. This includes top-line and bottom-line ownership and complete responsibility for the innovation master plan. In addition, she is the Chief Marketing officer for P&G for the Indian Subcontinent. Ms. Dhawan is also on the Board of Directors for Gillette India Ltd and of PGHH India Ltd as Non-Executive Director.
Ms. Dhawan leads the CSR program for P&G India-‘ Shiksha’- which focuses on primary education. It has won multiple awards – including most recently ‘Best CSR Program’ award by Lokmat for 2017-18.
