Submission Guidelines:
Submissions are invited for:

  1. Full Research Papers (max. 8,000 words)
  2. Short Papers/Work-in-Progress (max. 4,000 words)
  3. Poster Presentations
  4. Product Demonstrations (focus on assistive technologies and innovations)
  5. Practitioners’ papers or white papers

You may email your submission to ctdp2025@iima.ac.in with the Subject line as [CTDP-2025] Submission / Proposal for <Title>. Please mention the authors’ names and affiliations clearly in the abstract below the title.

All submissions will undergo peer review. Abstracts of the accepted submissions will be included in a Book of Abstracts. Some research papers might be considered for publication in indexed journals or as part of a special issue. A paper development workshop (PDW) will be planned for the papers to be submitted to the Special Issue.

All the submissions must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Submissions may address, but are not limited to, the following areas:

  • Assistive Technology Innovations: Development and application of assistive devices and services that empower PwD in education, work, and daily life.
  • AI and Machine Learning for Inclusivity: AI-based solutions for improving accessibility and minimizing bias in assistive technologies.
  • Digital Content Accessibility: Challenges and innovations in creating accessible digital platforms for communication, collaboration, and education.
  • Universal Design and Usability: Design products and systems accessible to the widest range of users, including PwD.
  • Technology and Employment: Technology-driven solutions to enhance employability and entrepreneurship for PwD.
  • Ethics, Privacy, and Policy: Addressing legal and ethical concerns, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, and the policy frameworks necessary for equitable tech use by PwD.
  • Social and Cultural Barriers: Addressing the non-technological challenges that limit the use and adoption of assistive technologies.
  • Case Studies: Successful implementations of tech solutions that have positively impacted PwD in various sectors, such as healthcare, education, and transportation.
