IIMA Healthcare Alumni Special Interest Group (ASIG), Alumni & External Relations Office and the Centre for Management of Health Services (CMHS) have planned the next edition of the IIMA Healthcare Summit, scheduled to be held at the IIMA Campus on 18th January 2025. With the theme “Advancing healthcare for India @ 2047”, this event promises to be of great interest and use for all stakeholders in the healthcare sector.

The Summit will feature the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Minister Shri J. P. Nadda, alongside other distinguished leaders from the government, key regulatory bodies, and eminent speakers from across the healthcare ecosystem. Their insights will inspire actionable strategies to bolster ongoing healthcare initiatives in the country.

The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with over 400 registrations to attend, comprising professionals with extensive experience in the healthcare sector, and leadership roles in healthcare-focused companies.

Recognizing the potential of youth to drive healthcare innovation, a key highlight will be the Healthcare Hackathon, a pre-summit event aimed at fostering healthcare innovation. Winners of this competition will present their ideas during the Summit, showcasing entrepreneurial ingenuity in the healthcare domain. Attendees will also gain valuable perspectives from successful startups and business leaders.

The IIMA Centre for Management of Health Services, known for its impactful healthcare research, will highlight work done till date and outline pathways for further research to advance inclusive healthcare by 2047.

This Summit seeks to attract support from industry, healthcare associations, startups, and academic and research institutions, fostering a collaborative environment for innovation and progress in the healthcare sector.

The IIMA Healthcare Summit is envisioned as an annual flagship event, recognized as a must-attend event in India’s healthcare landscape, reaffirming IIMA’s dedication to supporting the nation’s journey toward becoming a healthy, developed country by 2047.
