{"id":1495,"date":"2024-12-20T09:27:04","date_gmt":"2024-12-20T03:57:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/conference.iima.ac.in\/hcs2025\/?page_id=1495"},"modified":"2026-08-07T12:55:32","modified_gmt":"2026-08-07T07:25:32","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/conference.iima.ac.in\/hcs2026\/about\/","title":{"rendered":"About"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p align=\"justify\">The <strong>IIMA Healthcare Alumni Special Interest Group (SIG)<\/strong> and the <strong>Centre for Management of Health Services (CMHS)<\/strong> are pleased to announce the <strong>3<sup>rd<\/sup> edition<\/strong> of the <strong>IIMA Healthcare Summit<\/strong>, to be held at the IIMA Campus. Building on the momentum of previous editions, this year&#8217;s summit takes forward the vision of <em>Healthcare for India @2047<\/em> with a focus: <strong>&#8220;Advancing AI in Healthcare.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">The summit&#8217;s theme aligns closely with the Government of India&#8217;s continuing efforts, including IndiaAI Mission, to strengthen the healthcare system in pursuit of a healthy and developed India by 2047. The summit will examine how India can harness AI responsibly to build an inclusive and equitable health system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">Eminent speakers \u2013 global thought leaders from across the healthcare ecosystem, senior government officials, technologists and investors \u2013 will share their insights and participate in discussions to drive supportive action. Conversations will span the full arc of the AI-in-healthcare agenda: the architecture of an integrated health system, governance and ethics, the economics of adoption, talent and leadership, equitable access for Bharat, and India&#8217;s role on the global stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">With the recent inauguration of the <strong>Krishnamurthy Tandon School of AI<\/strong> at IIM Ahmedabad, the summit takes on added significance. Sessions will also showcase healthcare research conducted at IIM Ahmedabad and feature successful startups working at the AI frontier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">Prior to the summit, an Annual Meeting will be held exclusively for members of the IIMA Healthcare ASIG, which includes over 300 active alumni in leadership roles across the sector. This meeting will review the year&#8217;s achievements and set objectives for the year ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">Envisioned as an annual flagship event in India&#8217;s healthcare landscape, the IIMA Healthcare Summit reflects IIMA&#8217;s commitment to supporting India&#8217;s vision of becoming a healthy, developed nation by 2047.
