Call for Papers

The ever-changing real estate markets serve as crucial matters for governments, individuals, and firms, especially in emerging markets.  Besides, real estate transcends numerous fields beyond finance and urban economics/studies. Sustainability has become an increasingly prominent topic of discussion, and real estate has been rapidly evolving with this goal.

As the sector ventures into unchartered territories with new technologies, considerations such as land use, mortgage markets, and valuation are cardinal in real estate development, financing, and investment decisions. Additionally, the emergence of real estate securities and private equity investments further highlights the diversification options available in terms of financing this asset class.

The Real Estate Track aims to foster industry-specific discussions and scholarly research among a diverse group of international participants. The track will comprise of plenary research presentations, keynote speeches from thought-leaders and panel discussions on emerging topics bringing industry leaders and academics. While the conference will prioritise sustainability and emerging markets, empirical research papers related to all aspects of real estate themes/geographies are welcome for submission. Sub-tracks include but are not limited to:
