Papers accepted in this track are expected to contribute significantly to scholarly discourse by offering novel insights, advancing theoretical frameworks, and providing evidence-based recommendations for leadership practice.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moreover, this track prioritizes the translation of research into actionable insights with real-world implications for organizational leaders and decision-makers. By bridging the gap between theory and practice, the \u2018Leadership Research and Practice\u2019 track aims to empower leaders to navigate complex challenges, foster innovation, and drive sustainable organizational success in today&#8217;s rapidly changing work environment.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Submissions to this track are encouraged to explore a wide range of topics, including but not limited to leadership styles and behavior, leadership development and training programs, ethical leadership, diversity and inclusion in leadership, organizational change and transformation, leadership in crisis situations, digital leadership, and cross-cultural leadership challenges.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By embracing a multidisciplinary approach and welcoming diverse perspectives, the \u2018Leadership Research and Practice\u2019 track promises to enrich scholarly understanding, inspire practical action, and shape the future of leadership research and practice. Join us as we embark on a transformative journey of exploration, discovery, and impact in the realm of leadership. Sub-track include:<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><b>9.1: Theoretical Basis of Research in Leadership<\/b><b>: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This track encourages papers that develop or utilize theoretical frameworks to examine leadership dynamics within organizational contexts. Further, we also welcome research that explores and validates existing leadership theories or that proposes new theoretical models to understand leadership phenomena.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><b>9.2: Impact of Leadership<\/b><b>: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We look forward to studies that investigate the influence and effects of leadership practices on diverse organizational outcomes. The track also encourages research that examines the role that leadership plays in driving digital transformation, fostering sustainability &amp; green practices, managing artificial intelligence adoption, promoting ethical practices, facilitating organizational change, and fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><b>9.3: Leadership Beyond the Traditional Organizational Settings<\/b><b>: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We welcome papers that focus on leadership within non-profit organizations, educational institutions, startups, and other non-traditional organizational settings. For example, research in nonprofits, social enterprises, schools, regulators, start-ups, etc. We also look forward to research that examines leadership challenges in SME family business and legacy business contexts along with research that explores leadership challenges and strategies for talent management, motivation, retention, and growth in these diverse contexts.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><b>9.4: Leaders and Organizational Culture, Development and Change<\/b><b>: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We welcome research on new models of organizational culture for the new-age organizations, and the role of leaders in shaping such cultures along with research on approaches to organizational development and change management amidst evolving organizational landscapes. Also encouraged are studies that utilize dialogic and post-modern perspectives on organization change, along with case studies and real-life applications of organizational development interventions.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><b>9.5: Leadership, Future of Work and Technology<\/b><b>: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We look forward to research on how the role of leaders evolves with the emergence of various new forms of work arrangements like flexible working, gig working, and multiple job holdings among others. We also encourage research that examines how the role of leaders gets influenced or influences new developments in algorithmic management, AI, and newer technologies. The track also welcomes research that focuses on leadership in the age of social media and how an online presence impacts the focal firm, and the employees.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><b>9.6: Leadership and the Diverse Workforce<\/b><b>: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This track encourages submissions on how leaders engage with diverse workforces and how they could work with diversity in the workplace. We also welcome submissions that focus on how leaders could ensure that they develop inclusive workplaces. Here, research could incorporate models, theories, diversity frameworks and inclusion at the workplace.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><b>9.7: Dysfunctional Leadership<\/b><b>: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We welcome research that examines the role of leaders in &nbsp; promoting dysfunctional work behavior along with research that focuses on how one could manage the dark side of leadership or how one could manage toxic leaders in the workplace. Research could also focus on developing an understanding of why abusive leadership, and social undermining could cause bad outcomes.
