In more than six decades of its existence, the institute has been acknowledged for its exemplary contributions to scholarship, practice and policy through its distinctive teaching, high-quality research, nurturing future leaders, supporting industry, government, social enterprise and creating a progressive impact on society.<\/p>\r\nngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), research is recognized as the foremost academic practice. Our research capability is firmly rooted in the diversity of intellectual interests of the faculty, wherein members undertake research in cutting-edge interdisciplinary topics. Faurther, consistent with our motto, research at IIMA also informs and takes forward management practice.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At IIMA, research is grounded in real life problems and never loses sight of the institute\u2019s responsibility to the economy and to society.&nbsp; It is fully conscious of the demands of leadership for today and, more importantly, for tomorrow. As researchers, IIMA faculty are pioneers who enable new and exciting interdisciplinary collaborations; they take a solid grounding in theory and run it through a mill of questions and conjectures until future-oriented insights emerge.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to the interdisciplinary collaborations, IIM Ahmedabad has ten Centres of Excellence that engage in various research areas, encompassing artificial intelligence, digital transformation, health services, transportation and logistics, leadership, sustainability, behavioural science as well as financial markets and the economy, among other fields. These centres enable new and exciting interdisciplinary collaborations that allow them to look at business problems from different lenses, perform rigorous research, publish research papers and reports, and push the research frontiers.These centres actively engage with practitioners to work on contemporary research problems, carry out panel and roundtable discussions on relevant topics to deliberate and disseminate research work, and define directions for future research.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this context, IIMA is organizing its first IIMA Management Conference in collaboration with all the Research Centres at the institute. The objective of this Management Conference is to provide a greater visibility of research at IIMA, an opportunity for the Research Scholars, Academicians and Industry Practitioners to network and collaborate on various research themes at a common platform.
