Welcome to ORSI 2019
The Annual Convention of the Operational Research Society of India (ORSI) & the International Conference is a leading platform to share information, among academia and industry, on the latest theory, methods, techniques, applications and the practice of OR.
The conference theme is "Practice of Management Science & Analytics".
The pre-conference event is on Sunday, 15th Dec 2019.
The conference program will host 150+ presentations from participants across several countries. All the attendees will include from academics, industry professionals and students. The conference features a keynote speaker session by Prof. Ramayya Krishnan (Carnegie Mellon University) and plenary speaker session by Prof. Sridhar Seshadri (University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign) and by Dr John Hopes (President of Operational Research Society, UK). The conference also includes a panel discussion and final round of "Best Practice Award".
Other eminent participants/ speakers/ panelists include Dr. Arvind Kumar (MD, Optym), Dr. Raj Sivakumar (VP, Jet Airways), Prof. Vijay Chandru (IISc), Dr. S. Sengupta (TCS), Dr. Sanjay Prasad (IBM), Prof. Sankarshan Basu (IIMB) and many others.
The Operational Research Society of India
The Operational Research Society of India (ORSI) was founded in 1957 to provide a forum for the Operational Research Scientists to widen their horizon by exchange of knowledge and application of techniques from all over the world. The society is affiliated to International Federation of Operational Research Societies (IFORS website www.ifors.org) and the only society representing India in IFORS. The society is devoted to promotion and dissemination of knowledge in Operational Research. ORSI has sixteen chapters located in various cities in India.

Paper Presentations at the conference will be organized in parallel sessions within the thematic streams. Extended abstracts of research papers focused on theory and real-world applications are invited for the following (but not limited to) thematic streams. All submitted abstracts will be assessed by the respective stream chairs and reviewers.
