The pre-conference Doctoral Workshop (DW) in this edition of ICODO is scheduled on 16th December 2023 at IIMA campus. The last DW hosted ~25 doctoral students from the premier institutes of India presenting their peer-reviewed papers and posters to receive feedback from the mentor Professors. Top three doctoral thesis were awarded during ICODO main conference and all the presenters were given travel and stay scholarships.

The upcoming doctoral workshop is designed to enable doctoral students working on the broader issues around digital transformation, inclusive &  responsible digital transformation, and digital strategies. The objective of the workshop is to  support doctoral students as they write their dissertations, and papers for publishing to  shape their research careers. The doctoral students from India and abroad can apply to be a  part of the workshop. The workshop is open to all full-time Ph.D. students of recognized  universities.  

We invite doctoral students working on various topics on the interface of digital  technologies and business management to apply for this workshop. Areas of research for the DW paper submissions may include, but are not limited to:

Key Features of the ICODO Doctoral Workshop

The ICODO Doctoral workshop will host up to 15 doctoral students who will get feedback from senior scholar mentor and peers. Prof. H. Raghav Rao, AT&T Distinguished Chair, Alvarez College of Business (ACOB), University of Texas San Antonio (UTSA) and Prof. Hillol Bala from Kelley School of Business at the Indiana University will be the senior scholar mentors for the 2023 doctoral workshop.

There will be parallel tracks where a selected set of doctoral students will make presentations and get feedback from experts. There will also be an opportunity to do poster presentations in the second half of the day to get feedback.

You may submit your full research paper or a working paper draft on which feedback is required.

Scholarships

All selected doctoral students will be eligible for travel bursaries/scholarships covering expenses to travel within India to attend the ICODO doctoral workshop.

Paper Submission

The doctoral students  need to upload the full paper or a draft of the full paper on which they would like to receive  feedback. The document should be in either *docx, *doc, *.pdf formats. It is recommended  that the paper length should not exceed 40 pages (1.5 spaces, Times new roman) with the  following naming convention:
