The India Management Research Conference (IMRC) 2026 invites scholarly submissions across a diverse set of thematic tracks that reflect the breadth and depth of contemporary management research. Anchored in the conference theme, “Reimagining Organizations: Transformation and Value-Creation in the Age of AI,” the tracks are designed to foster rigorous inquiry into both foundational and emerging areas of management scholarship.

IMRC 2026 features several tracks spanning critical domains such as startups and entrepreneurship, healthcare management, financial markets and economic policy, behavioural science, transportation and logistics, digital transformation, sustainability and governance, leadership in evolving work contexts, data science and AI, low emissions development strategies and marketing.

Together, these tracks provide a comprehensive platform for researchers to present innovative work, engage with domain experts, and contribute to advancing knowledge at the intersection of management, technology, and policy.

Types of Submissions

IMRC 2026 welcomes:

Full Papers (completed research with substantial results)

Working Papers (ongoing research with promising contributions)

Extended Abstracts (early-stage research or conceptual work)

All submissions should demonstrate originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to theory and/or practice.

Review Process

All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process coordinated by the conference tracks led by the Centres of Research Excellence at IIM Ahmedabad. Only quality submissions reflecting strong theoretical and/or empirical contributions will be selected for presentation at the conference.
