Conference Venue
All the conference sessions are scheduled at the IIM Ahmedabad New Campus. Please refer to the conference schedule for more details. The heritage city Ahmedabad is located in the state of Gujarat, in the western part of India, on the banks of the Sabarmati River. Ahmedabad is known for its rich past and its association with Mahatma Gandhi. The city has tourist attractions like Gandhi Ashram, Akshardham, Calico Museum, Nal Sarovar (Bird Sanctuary), and monuments dating back to the 15th century.
Reaching Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad is well connected to other parts of India by air, rail, and road. There are daily flights to important cities in India. Daily Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Chennai train services are available. Direct International connections to destinations such as Dubai, London, New York, Paris and Singapore are also available.
Reaching the Venue
IIMA New Campus is about a 40-minute drive from the airport and 25-30 minutes from the railway station/bus station, depending upon the time of the day and traffic conditions. To reach IIMA, on landing in the city, mention “Indian Institute of Management (IIM) New Campus, Vastrapur” in your taxi/cab/bike/autorickshaw aggregator platform or book a private taxi from the port of your arrival. The Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Services (AMTS) and Bus Rapid Transit Services (BRTS) operate buses throughout the city.
Weather
Participants and attendees travelling to Ahmedabad can expect the temperature in March to be anywhere between 18°C and 35°C on the conference dates. The evening may be a bit windy, so the Participants and attendees are encouraged to carry summer wear with a windcheater or jacket, which might be required after evening hours during dinner in an open area.
